A LONG TIME FEATURE HAS COME TO AN END ON
BIG COUNTRY 97!

As of March 1, 2010, American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks will no longer be airing on BIG COUNTRY 97.

The parent comany of A.C.C., Citadel Media, has changed the way that they distribute the program to their affiliate stations. After many years of providing the program on CD's, they have decided to discontinue that practice, and will be utilizing a special satellite receiver.

This new way of distributing the program is not compatible with the systems at BIG COUNTRY 97.

As a result, it is with great sadness, that after being an affiliate of American Country Countdown since 1981, the longest tenure of any station in the area,

that BIG COUNTRY 97 has made the decision to no longer air American Country Countdown.

BIG COUNTRY 97 would like to thank everyone for listening to American Country Countdown for the past 29 years.

from 10am until 12 noon

meaning that for 12 hours, and 12 hours only,
Lawrence Brothers Supermarkets will drop their already low prices even lower on select items.
